Overview Opening the Print Dialog Choosing Sections to Include Opening the Print Preview

Overview

The Print button in the Reservation Details dialog lets you generate a printable summary of a reservation. Before opening the browser print preview, Maptician shows a Print Reservation dialog where you can choose which sections to include and see a live preview of what will be printed.

The Print button is available in the Reservation Details dialog wherever it appears — including the Finder, Calendar, and My Reservations views.

Opening the Print Dialog

  1. Open the Reservation Details dialog for any reservation.
  2. Click the Print button in the upper-right corner of the dialog header.
  3. The Print Reservation dialog opens. It shows a section selector on the left and a live preview on the right.

Choosing Sections to Include

The left panel lists all available sections. Check or uncheck each one to control what appears in the printed output. The preview on the right updates in real time. Available sections are:

  • Header: The reservation title, resource name, location, date and time range, and attendee and location count chips.
  • Printed On: A timestamp showing when the print preview was generated.
  • Main Reservation Info: The calendar entry with setup and clean-up buffers, the message, reservation owner details, and reservation information (single/recurring, public/private).
  • Attendees: The full list of attendees is included in the reservation.
  • Locations: All resources and locations tied to the reservation.
  • Services: Any services attached to the reservation (catering, A/V setup, etc.).
  • Video Conference (Zoom / Teams / Webex): Online meeting details. Only appears if an online meeting provider is enabled for the reservation.

Use Select all or Clear all at the top of the section list to quickly check or uncheck everything, but at least one section needs to be checked to proceed with the print preview.

💡 TIP

The section count (e.g., "7 sections selected") is shown in the upper-right corner of the preview panel, so you can quickly confirm how many sections are included before printing.

Opening the Print Preview

Once you have selected the sections you want, click Open Print Preview. This opens the browser's built-in print dialog, where you can choose your printer, paper size, orientation, and other print settings before printing or saving as a PDF.

To close without printing, click Cancel.
