Supported Deep Links

Deep linking enables the ability to open Maptician directly to a specific area of the application using a simple web URL. These links can be shared in emails, calendars, chat messages, or bookmarks.

Opening a Map Directly

• URL format: https://{subdomain}.maptician.com/?map={officeID}
• What happens: If the officeID is recognized, Maptician will automatically open to the specified map.
• Example: https://example.maptician.com/?map=589efe4f-e71c-4937-be16-d36d36c4c43f

Opening a Seat Directly

In addition to seat-based resources, this includes similar resources such as an Asset, Locker, or Parking spots.

• URL format: https://{subdomain}.maptician.com/?map={officeID}&seat={seatID}
• What happens: If the officeID and seatID are recognized, Maptician will automatically open to the specified seat.
• Example: https://example.maptician.com/?map=589efe4f-e71c-4937-be16-d36d36c4c43f&seat=d966e497-40f8-4f92-8eb2-d06fae570485

Opening a Room Directly

• URL format: https://{subdomain}.maptician.com/?map={officeID}&room={roomID}
• What happens: If the officeID and roomID are recognized, Maptician will automatically open to the specified room.
• Example: https://example.maptician.com/?map=589efe4f-e71c-4937-be16-d36d36c4c43f&room=ad21c31c-9b5a-4ea3-8f34-68f804ec6e47

Reservation Links

Opening a Reservation Directly

• URL format: https://{subdomain}.maptician.com/?resource={roomID OR seatID}&reservation={reservationID}&time={start}
• What happens: If the resource (roomID or seatID), reservationID, and time are recognized, Maptician will automatically open to the specified reservation in the resource's reservation calendar.
• Example: https://example.maptician.com/?resource=d966e497-40f8-4f92-8eb2-d06fae570485&reservation=ed8ba7d7-6f50-4b06-9991-e22dcba23e5a&time=1773685800000

User Links

Opening an Occupant's Profile Directly

• URL format:
  • https://{subdomain}.maptician.com/?userid={userID or Email}
  • https://{subdomain}.maptician.com/?user={userID or Email}
  • https://{subdomain}.maptician.com/?email={userID or Email}
• What happens: If the userID/email is recognized, Maptician will automatically open the specified occupant's profile.
• Examples:
  • https://example.maptician.com/?userid=6a5efdaa-ebf1-4850-920d-51ec8cab805a
  • https://example.maptician.com/?email=john.doe@example.com

Opening an Occupant's Assigned Seat Directly

• URL format:
  • https://{subdomain}.maptician.com/?userid_loc={userID or Email}
  • https://{subdomain}.maptician.com/?user_loc={userID or Email}
• What happens: If the userID/email is recognized and the occupant has an assigned seat, Maptician will automatically open the map view and select the specified occupant's assigned seat. If the specified occupant does not have an assigned seat, Maptician will automatically open the occupant's profile.
