How do I find measurements of a room?
This article walks through a couple of ways on how to find dimensions and square footage of a room.

- Open Map Editor.
- Click on the desired room.
- Under the "Area" tab, you will find the overall square footage of the room.
- Under the "Perimeter" tab, you will find the overall perimeter listed. If you click "On Select" across from labels, you will see the breakdown of the room's dimensions every time you select that room.

Repeat steps 2 - 4 for each of the desired rooms.
- You can turn on the dimensions for multiple rooms at once by holding down the 'Ctrl' key, selecting multiple rooms, and selecting "On Select" or "Always" under the "Perimeter" tab.
Please note: The dimensions in Maptician are only as good as the dimensions originally provided in the source file.
