Upload Visitor Profile Image
The article below illustrates the different ways images can be uploaded for visitors that way they can be used for verification during the check-in process or even be printed onto a badge.
Creating/editing a visit
- When creating or editing a visitor in a visit, click the image box where it says Click to upload an image.

- That will bring up your device's file management system.
- Select an image file in one of the supported file types:
.png
,.jpg
,.jpeg
,.webp
, or.svg
-
Once you have selected the image, it will open in the image cropping window as shown below.
- Adjust the Crop Box: Drag the corners or edges of the blue box to adjust which part of the image will be saved. Move the box to center the visitor’s face if needed.
- Rotate (optional): Use the curved arrow buttons to rotate the image left or right.
- Reset: Click the Reset button if you want to undo your cropping or rotation changes and start over.
- Crop & Save: Click this to crop and save the image based on your selection.
- Cancel: Click Cancel to exit without saving the image.

-
IMPORTANT: The visitor’s profile image will not be saved unless you click Crop & Save after adjusting the image.
- If this step is not performed, the profile image will not be configured for the visitor.
- Now that the image is being applied to the user, you will see a preview of the visitor's profile after it has been cropped.
- If you need to change or adjust the profile image, click the image box again, re-upload the same or a new image, and repeat the cropping process.

When updating the visitor's information from the Manage Visitor's screen, if the visitor has a future visit that was created before this update was made, the newly added/updated image will NOT be reflected on their upcoming visit. This will also have to be done directly on the upcoming visit.
