Introducing the New Maptician Navigation
The application navigation has been updated with a modernized look and feel as part of Maptician's ongoing rebranding effort. You will notice a darker background, updated icons, and new teal accents throughout the left navigation. Your user profile card has also moved to the bottom of the left navigation bar.
The top tab navigation has been updated as well, with tabs that overflow into a dropdown when the window is too narrow to display them all, keeping the interface clean at any screen size.

Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue where accepting a proposed alternate resource from the My Approval Status widget did not send a confirmation email to the reservation owner.
- Resolved several issues with the Reservation Approvals workflow where proposing an alternate resource could result in duplicate calendar events, orphaned placeholder events, or unexpected reservations appearing on the resource calendar.
- Implemented improvements to help prevent canceled room reservations from intermittently remaining on Outlook resource calendars and causing booking conflicts.
- Resolved an issue where the dashboard configuration buttons could overlap widget content when arranging or configuring your dashboard layout.
- Resolved an incorrect warning in the Implement Scenario confirmation dialog that falsely indicated the scenario would be removed from the scenario list after implementation.
- Resolved an issue where all-day reservations sent via email invitation were appearing as full-day blocking events in Outlook rather than displaying correctly in the All Day bar.
Sneak Peek from the Product Team
Improved Service Data Rendering in Reports
We will be making improvements to how service data is displayed in reservation reports. In an upcoming release, reports containing service list data will display a compact "X Service(s)" link in place of the full inline service details. Clicking the link will open the Reservation Details dialog directly on the Services tab, giving you the same complete view without impacting report performance.
This change applies to viewing reports inside Maptician only. Exported and automated reports will continue to include full service data as they do today.

A New Look for Seat Signage
The Maptician seat signage experience is being redesigned from the ground up with a modernized look and feel.
The updated design will surface more contextual information at a glance, with new configuration options giving administrators greater control over what is displayed, including the ability to choose whether certain functionality appears on the signage, such as presence status and QR codes, as well as the ability to customize the signage appearance by selecting light or dark mode, uploading a custom background image, or using a plain color.
