Before you Start

Before starting, make sure you have an Embrava account and to prevent any potential issues during setup, an Admin account is preferred. 

You will also want access to your Maptician environment with an Account Admin user. This only applies if you are configuring the integration on your own without assistance from Maptician​.

Getting Started

Step 1: Log into your Embrava Portal

Once you're logged in, there should be a menu option on the left side labeled “Account”. Click this menu option. 

This should default to the “Integrations” tab.

Step 2: Save the Org ID and Secret Key

You will want to copy and save the Org ID and Secret Key. You will need to add these into Maptician in a later step.​ To view the Secret Key, you will want to click the eyeball icon on the right side of that field.

Step 3: (Optional) Save the API Location URL

The API location URL is generally only required if your organization uses a private API server for its Embrava hosting.

Navigate to the “Organization Details” tab within the Account section. Copy the “API Location” URL.

Step 4: Configure Embrava in Maptician

1. ​In your Maptician environment navigate to Settings > Environment > Embrava Integation.
2. Enter your Org ID and Secret Key into their respective fields that you previously saved in Step 2.​
3. Optional Step: If you plan on using a private API server for your Embrava hosting, enter the “API Location” that you saved in step 3 into the “API Server URL”.
4.  IMPORTANT: When entering the URL, use a full server URL: https://[some domain].net
5. Click the green SAVE CHANGES button.

Step 5: Verify Embrava Credentials in Maptician

Confirm that your Embrava credentials are working by clicking the blue CHECK CONNECTION button.

After the above steps are completed, please reach out to your Maptician technical contact for additional information & steps around Embrava and its integration with Maptician.
