Drawing a Section on a Floor Plan

Drawing a Section on your floor plan allows you to outline specific, leaseable areas using the Map Editor. Sections give you the flexibility to manage leases on a more granular level, so you can easily specify whether a lease applies to an entire location or just a single floor. This feature is perfect for configuring leases based on distinct parts of a building, giving you greater precision and customization when assigning lease terms to individual areas.

It is important to note that floor plans can have multiple sections drawn on them, so if you have multiple leaseable areas on a single map, those multiple drawn sections can be added to a single lease agreement, further enhancing your lease management capabilities.

Getting Started

  1. Navigate to the Map Editor tab.
  2. Select the location and map to open.
  3. Click Load.
  4. In the menu to the right, locate the Objects tab.
  5. Click the Areas tab.
  6. Click the Draw Section button.
  1. Begin right-clicking with your mouse on the outside of the leaseable area of the map.
  2. After tracing the area desired, hit Enter on your keyboard.
  3. Save the map.
