Maptician is excited to release another Reservation-based enhancement. Our latest release, 2.17.2, gives users the ability to add additional Attendees to Room Reservations. Please see below, the steps that are required to add multiple Attendees. As always, if you have questions, please contact your Maptician Implementation or Success Manager.
The Details
- To see the latest addition, go to a reservable room, select the room, and then select the Reservation Calendar option.
- Within the Reservation Calendar, and once a Reservation time is selected, navigate to the right-hand side of the screen and select the Attendees tab. Once the Attendees are selected from the list of available attendees, added Attendees are set as a “Required Attendee” by default.
- Once added, clicking on the Attendee will allow you to set the attendee type to Required, Optional, or Resource.
- Attendees can be added by email address with the option to save them as a Contact for future use. This is especially helpful for external contacts and/or frequently contacted individuals.
- As a reminder, if you would like your Rooms to sync with Outlook, and have not yet made the resource connection, please let us know, and we will assist you in making the connection. The bi-directional sync is key to conference room booking and seamless deployments!
Profile Photos of Invitees
If an invitee/user has a profile picture, it will appear on the reservation.
